1. Information we keep
- Account details: your name, mobile number, e-mail if you give one, and your password. Passwords are stored in a form that even we cannot read.
- Pharmacy records: the pharmacy's name and address, sales, purchases, stock, suppliers, expenses and cash, and the customer names and mobile numbers you enter.
- Payment details: the amount, the payment method, the transaction ID and the time, as our payment gateway reports them, and the payer's number when the gateway shares it.
- Photos: photos of prescriptions, invoices or medicine packs taken for AI search are stored on our servers.
- Usage information: the pages you open, the buttons you press, the site you came from, your IP address, browser and operating system. When you are signed in, we also record when and for how long you were active, and which staff member did what in a pharmacy, such as who entered a sale.
- Course progress: the lessons you have read and your MCQ and test results.
We never ask for or store your bKash PIN, card number or bank passwords. You enter those details only on the payment gateway's own page, and the gateway handles them itself.
2. Why we use it
- To run the software, the apps and the courses.
- To match payments and activate courses or subscriptions.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent misuse.
- To understand which pages and features are useful, so we can improve the service.
- To send important notices about payments, renewals or the service.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. Only what is needed to run the service goes to:
- AI service providers: a photo is sent to a trusted AI provider so that it can be read.
- Payment providers: our payment gateway (PayStation) and the wallet, card or bank you choose there, only to process payments.
- Hosting providers: the company whose servers hold our software and data.
- Government authorities: when the law of the country requires it.
We also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook) on our public pages, course pages and account pages. It tells Meta which page you opened and whether you started or finished buying a course, with its price. We use this to measure our Facebook ads and to show them to people who may be interested. Meta also receives what any website with the Pixel shares, such as your IP address and browser. We never send Meta your name, mobile number, payment details, pharmacy records or photos.
4. Each pharmacy's data is kept apart
Each pharmacy's records are kept separately. One pharmacy cannot see another pharmacy's data. Within a pharmacy, its Admin decides what each staff member can see or do.
5. Cookies
- We use cookies to keep you signed in and for security.
- A visitor cookie lets us count repeat visits from the same browser, so that visitor numbers are accurate.
- A few small preferences, such as snoozing a reminder, are saved in your own browser.
On our public pages, course pages and account pages, Meta (Facebook) sets its own cookies through the Meta Pixel to measure our ads (see section 3). The pharmacy software and the prescription cost tool do not use the Meta Pixel.
6. Security
Information travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored in a form that cannot be read. Only people who need access can see a pharmacy's data.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. Payment and accounting records may be kept longer where the law or bookkeeping requires it. Visit data may be deleted after a set period.
8. Your rights
To see your information, correct it, or have your account and data deleted, write to contact@amarpharma.ai. We will delete everything except the payment records the law requires us to keep.
9. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date. If you have any questions, write to contact@amarpharma.ai.
